Fly Fu (PSP game) Review

Hey guys,

Just wanna do a quick review of a simple little game on the PSP called Fly Fu. Yeah the name's lame but here's my two cents on it.

This game can be described as a mindless beat-em-up, involving button mashing and very simple controls. Up to jump, down to duck (both absolutely useless), 2 buttons to attack, 1 button for berserk and one for picking up weapons and shoulder buttons to roll.

You play a fly, who is trained in kung fu after his girlfriend was kidnapped. There are 4 levels and take place in what seems to be pencil sketched locations. The berserk I found to be quite fun as you have a chance of ending your enemies by knocking them to the background or shattering them (satisfying feeling) and if you kill 3 enemies you could get a pretty lol bullet time-styled effect.

That's all to it really, you kill X number of enemies and then fight a boss. X number increases with stage and so on. You'll probably clear it in under an hour. But it is a nice way to kill an hour.

Overall I give this game a 2/5. Nothing special. Period. Try it out if you are absolutely bored. It'll keep you entertained when you wanna do something not taxing.
