Hey all
I've got a friend asking how to take screenshots from my PSP and here's a quick guide to it. I'm running it on my 5.50 Prometheus-4. I use the one called the Screen\Video Capture Module by ADePSP or SVCapture.
First Download the attachment : 11693_SVCapture05.zip
For 3.71M33 Download Here: 11693_SVCapture05 for 3.71 M33.rar
2. Extract the file.
3. Look for the seplugins folder in your PSP root. If it's not there, just create a folder called "seplugins".
Note: The root is where you find the folders PSP, MP_ROOT, ISO, etc.
4. Copy capture.prx and capture.ini to seplugins.
5. Open the vsh.txt (create a blank txt file called "vsh" if it's not there) and write: ms0:/seplugins/capture.prx
Note: If you already have stuff in the vsh, just add that line at the end.
6. Repeat no.5 but in game.txt (again, make one if it's not there)
7. Now turn on your PSP with the R shoulder button held to go into configuration mode.
8. Go to plugins and activate all "capture.prx" plugins.
9.(OPTIONAL) copy __SCE__SVCPlayer and %__SCE__SVCPlayer to your psp at X:\PSP\game150
(Where X is the drive of your PSP on your PC)
10.(also optional) After recording a movie, open svc player and see it!
Now you are ready to take screens and video gifs off your PSP games!
By default press note button (the music note) to take a screenshot (saved in BMP format.
Hold R and then note to start taking a video (if your game will lags heavily or not, this is normal) and press note again to stop taking the video. This will be saved in GIF format.
Both will be saved in PSP > photo.
Read the readme.txt provided for further info.
That's it really. Do comment if you have any questions. Have fun! (b ^.')
I leave you with a screen from Monster Hunter Portable 3rd.
